Travel MIS Features

Travel MIS is a reporting tool used by travel agents for accountability purposes.It captures accounting data before ticket issuance. It also eliminates manual card system to record information related to bookings. It is used for auto-invoicing, auto-receipting and credit control.

It is incorporated to the Galileo Smartpoint and is accessible once an agent starts doing a booking. Details of the booking are transferred to the Travel MIS and the agent can fill in the details that are left and process the invoices/receipts. The accounting department and management for approval purpose or generation of reports can access these details. The script can be customized to a client’s terms and needs

Product Features:

Travel MIS is a corporate script designed for clients for the purposes of:
Credit Control - This is a system used by a business to make certain that it gives credit only to customers who are able to pay, and that customers pay on time. This in turn results in increased sales revenue and minimizes risk of loss through bad debts by restricting or denying credit to customers who are not a good credit risk.
Auto-invoicing - This is a feature that allows you to automatically charge a Client’s credit account on a regular basis through a Recurring Profile set up in your account. The client might be corporate or an individual with a credit account set up where you can access their records and invoice them and their account details will be reflected on their invoice i.e. transaction history.
Auto-receipting - For walk-in clients and those who pay via cash, the system allows for auto-receipting. The receipts will contain the booking information as it is in the PNR since the information on MIS is picked from the booking and auto populated on the MIS fields. This reduces margin for error. The product is incorporated to Smartpoint and the travel agents can access it once they are doing a booking. The PNR details are then transferred to the script. The fields on the MIS are auto populated with relevant information from the tickets PNR and then processed for the client
